Westfalia’s new Columbus Liner will make its world premiere at Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germancy, introducing a model that redefines the standards of the premium camper van segment, Westfalia said in a recent release.
Its three-level layout, featuring a spacious living area, a king-size bed and the optional Sky Lounge, a true private rooftop terrace, creates an exceptional sense of space previously reserved for large luxury motorhomes, the company said.
According to Westfalia’s website, the Sky Lounge is directly accessible from the sleeping area, and the Sky Roof is equipped with an integrated insect screen. This also provides the sleeping area with natural light, creating a connection between the interior and the outdoors. An optional SkyBar with integrated espresso machine for added comfort is available.
The Columbus Liner also features a generous XXL rear garage, an innovative bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and optional energy packages providing maximum self-sufficiency, Westfalia said.
The rear garage is completely separated from the living space, effectively protecting the interior from dirt, moisture and odors. The optional Thule VeloSlide system enables the storage of two electric bicycles without removing any parts. An optional Rail Pack ensures optimum securing of the load during transport.
Depending on the chosen configuration, the vehicle can be equipped with up to 540Ah lithium batteries, a 3,000-watt inverter, an 80 A mains charger, an 80 A charging booster, an induction hob and a 165-watt solar module integrated into the Sky Roof.
Westfalia will be in Hall 4, Stand B01 at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf from Aug. 28 to Sept. 6.
