Lippert Components, Inc. announced it will be present at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon 2024 with new products — some ready for production, others still at the concept level.

News for OEM partners

Lippert is launching its first door for caravans. Simply Trail, derived from legacy brands and know-how such as Metallarte and RV Doors, today part of Lippert, is a door characterized by a simple and elegant style, designed to meet the needs of a recreational vehicle such as a caravan, which requires lower costs. On request, it can be enriched with a window with blind designed to increase the daylight in the living area or with other elements, such as a practical container that can be used as a trash can.

Another important OEM product offered by Lippert, this time for the window blind segment, is the roller blind solutions Altair and Altair Open, respectively with a four-sided closed frame and a three-sided open frame. Constructed with a lightweight, durable PVC frame and polyester fabric blinds, they have a clutched sliding mechanism that allows for easy opening to any position. The retractable rolled blind helps filter light and provide privacy.

The Caravan Salon will be the opportunity for Lippert to present the new generation of the Elektroblock EBL, the company said. The power supply system that carries on the Schaudt tradition springs from a concept with an integrated DC/DC booster for recharging through a smart alternator. The EBL e-SmartWave system that can interface with many other devices on board the RV, such as AC systems, so that they can be controlled from a single point using the CI-BUS protocol, is at a stage of design closer to production. The first version of this new EBL, designed to equip high-end vehicles with discrete components, will be offered without a charger (available as a separate device), while the version complete with the charging system will be launched later.

Completing the OEM offer on the Lippert stand will be no shortage of steps, doors and beds.

Aftermarket solutions

For aftermarket solutions, the spotlight this year will be on the Level 9 leveling system. It consists of a pair of wedges that, via a dedicated app, allow the vehicle to be levelled without errors perfectly and easily. A prototype will be on show at the Caravan Salon, but marketing is slated to start as the production industrialization phase is complete.

Many accessories, like Furrion cameras, portable refrigerators and the R-Bike carrier, will not fail to draw the attention of end users, Lippert said.

“We are excited to bring innovation to the RV sector with our EBL e-SmartWave, a state-of-the-art system that seamlessly integrates connectivity and digitization into the electronic architecture of modern vehicles”, said Lorenzo Manni, managing director, caravanning EMEA at Lippert. “We are particularly proud of our Level 9, a modern, hybrid aftermarket solution that combines advanced functionality with ease of use, offering superior benefits over traditional levelling systems. Strategically, Lippert is reasserting its role as a technical advisor and partner for innovative solutions. After years of challenges in the industry, we are now focusing on market standardization and technical support, working to reduce costs without compromising quality for our end customers”.

Lippert will welcome visitors, customers and partners in Hall 14, at Booth C05, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 8.
