For the fifth year in a row, Lippert participated in National Volunteer Week on April 21–27, reaffirming its commitment to using “Business as a Force for Good in the World.”

As Volunteer Week unfolded across the nation and around the globe, thousands of Lippert team members enthusiastically joined in, spearheading impactful initiatives at both local and international levels, the company said. From holding a “Rail Trail” cleanup in Gloversville, New York, to park cleanup projects in Twin Falls, Idaho, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and volunteering for Rowans Hospice in Havant (United Kingdom), team members showed up for the causes they care about the most.

The focus of local efforts was the three-day Volunteer Week Pack-Out event organized at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Indiana, where more than 1,200 team members boxed 144,000 essential food items and school supplies, which were then distributed locally. This year’s beneficiaries included the Food Bank of Northern Indiana and 10 schools within Elkhart, St. Joseph and Allen counties.

“As we celebrate the fifth consecutive year of Lippert’s company-wide participation in Volunteer Week, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering dedication and boundless generosity of Lippert team members,” said Michilah Grimes, director of corporate and community impact at Lippert. “Our team members have saved nonprofits over $27 million since 2017 by donating their time to the causes they love most. Each small act of kindness, driven by their enthusiasm and passion for making a difference, has an immeasurable impact on the communities we serve.”

Participating in Volunteer Week serves as a cornerstone of Lippert’s broader philanthropic mission, aligning with the company’s commitment to leverage Business as a Force for Good in the World.

“Lippert’s involvement in Volunteer Week extends beyond a mere obligation; it reflects the genuine desire to make a meaningful impact in the world and uplift those in need. Through initiatives like these, Lippert demonstrates that business success and social responsibility are not mutually exclusive but rather integral components of a holistic approach to corporate citizenship. As the company continues to strive towards an overarching goal of using resources and influence for the betterment of society, Volunteer Week stands as a testament to their unwavering dedication to creating positive change in the communities it serves,” Lippert said.
