United Shade, a subsidiary of Dicor Corp., has added Lola Fuller to serve as purchasing manager for United Shade. In this role, Fuller will be responsible for purchasing and leading the efforts to enhance the procurement function for United Shade. This includes supply chain management as it relates to the supplier’s overall value proposition, along with strategic sourcing efforts overseas. Fuller will also work with supplier qualification based on price, quality, services, support, availability, reliably production and distribution capabilities.
“We’re really excited about Lola coming to work for United Shade,” said Chuck Olson, director of purchasing for Dicor. “Her background demonstrates a focus on material cost management, strategic sourcing and supplier relation management. … She’ll bring immediate value to the United Shade team.”
Before coming to United Shade, Fuller was a purchaser for Patrick Industries in Elkhart, Ind., working with sales, designers and suppliers to facilitate new product launches and prior to that, she worked for SkyWest as a receiving inspector, shipping assistant, and handled inventory control.
Fuller graduated with a bachelor’s in International Business from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Fuller is fluent in Chinese, Portuguese, English and partly fluent in Spanish.
