EverGreen RVs and Motor Coach Industries will issue a pair of unrelated recalls, affecting 1,217 units, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

EverGreen is recalling 610 of its 2013-15 Amped and Amped Reactor RVs due to the risk of carbon monoxide from the generator filling the passenger cabin.

The issue occurs when the generator and generator pump shift during transit, allowing carbon monoxide from the generator to leak into the cabin, according to the release.

EverGreen will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicles and correct the generator installation, as necessary. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact EverGreen customer service at 1-574-825-4298.

Motor Coach Industries (MCI) is recalling 607 units from its 2011-13 and 2015 J4500, D4000, D4005, D4000ISTV, D4500 and D4505 coaches due to Recaro Ergo-M Commercial Bus Driver Seats that have J-Brackets that may be missing welds.

The missing welds could allow the seat belt anchorage assembly to separate from the J-Bracket.

MCI will notify owners and dealers will inspect the seats and determined if welds are missing. Any J-Bracket that is missing welds will be removed and replaced. The recall is expected to begin in February 2016. Owners may contact MCI at 1-800-241-2947. MCI’s number for this recall is SB 431.
