Marc Hanoud Passes Away at 35

Beloved son of Marty, Twinnie, Derek and Danielle Hanoud, former owners of Marty’s USRV in Berkley, Mass., Marc Anthony Hanoud, 35, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28.

He was born in Taunton, Mass., the loving son of Monsour “Marty” Hanoud and Antoinette Hanoud. Marc was a graduate of Coyle Cassidy High School, class of 2002. He earned his bachelor of business in automotive management at Northwood University located in West Palm Beach, Fla., then returned home to work in the family business, formally known as Marty’s USRV.

Marc received his 200-ton Captains license from the Northeast Maritime Institute and was fortunate to work in the field that he was passionate about as a performance boat builder at Outerlimits Powerboats at time of his passing.

He loved spending time with his family and many friends, he knew how to bring people together “as our social director” and made everyone feel special in their own way. Marc lived for boating and being on the water he also enjoyed target shooting at the 508 Compound, performance cars, CrossFit, sports and had an awesome sense of humor.

Survivors besides his parents are his sister, Danielle Hanoud; brother, Derek Hanoud; nephew, Draeson Hanoud; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours for Marc will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, and from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home at 350 Ave., Taunton, Mass., with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 a.m. in the Annunciation of the Lord Church at 31 First Street. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
