Meyer and Route 66 Form Partnership

Meyer Distributing has been selected by the Route 66 RV Network to be a primary parts and accessory distributor to serve the needs of its nationwide RV dealership locations.

“We are excited about the opportunity to work with Route 66, as we share the same core values that ultimately affect end users in a positive manner,” said Jason Lents, RV/towing sales manager at Meyer. “As a family owned and operated national RV parts distributor, we – like many of the Route 66 dealers – wake up every day motivated to be the best that we can be to meet our customers’ needs.”

Meyer Distributing’s national footprint includes 10 distribution centers and 56 cross docks that are strategically located nationwide. This enables Meyer to service the vast majority of dealers across the U.S. with next day delivery, including late cutoffs.

“We have our own logistics network which allows us to move products to dealers across the country in an efficient and timely manner,” said Paul Tustin, Midwest Regional RV sales manager. “In addition, we are continually reinvesting and expanding the logistics network to better meet our customers’ needs.”

“Meyer is a great fit for The Network,” said Dave Francis, a Route 66 partner. “In fact, we see this as the first of many critical steps that we will be taking in our ‘Main Street Parts & Accessory’ strategy to enable our dealers to more competitively buy and sell aftermarket parts through their stores and online. We believe Meyer can not only help us meet but exceed the overall performance and profitability objectives we have identified in serving our dealers.”

“At Meyer, we strive to offer the best in customer service, product selection, pricing and technology,” said Cody Ziegler, national sales manager at Meyer. “This focus will deliver to all Route 66 dealers a complete buying experience that allows them to do what they do best – take care of their customers.”
