Meyer Distributing has acquired all the assets of Phoenix-based AIM Wholesale Inc.
Meyer Distributing has 94 locations nationwide and more than 2.75 million square feet of warehouse space from which it serves its customers in the RV, automotive and marine industries.
According to Meyer, all customer orders placed with AIM that had not yet been shipped by AIM will still be fulfilled as they were placed, including all recent show orders, by Meyer. These orders will transfer over to the online.meyerdistributing.com portal.
“While many AIM customers already have a Meyer login, for those that do not, account managers will be reaching out to you asap to provide this information,” the company said, continuing: “You can also call us at the same AIM number at 1-800-266-4554 to retrieve your login credentials if you don’t already have them.
“To our vendor partners, all inventory received and posted by AIM and sold to Meyer will be paid directly to the vendor by AIM from Meyer proceeds. All inventory received by AIM that is in the building but has not been posted to AIM’s inventory will be paid directly by Meyer to the vendor. All open unshipped purchase orders placed by AIM will need to be audited by Meyer for accuracy and to have shipping addresses updated to a respective Meyer warehouse location. Purchasing agents will be reaching out to each vendor to discuss an audit of open orders placed by AIM and any other relevant concerns.”
