Meyer recently added gun/fireproof safes to its ProMaxx Automotive lineup.
“With our powerful logistical network, the product possibilities are endless,” said Nick Gramelspacher, VP of sales and marketing of Meyer. “The demand is there, and this is the next big addition to our broad offering of non-automotive products. Many of our customers are gun enthusiasts so it just made sense we went this direction.”
Currently there are three models available for 20, 39 and 51-gun sizes. All are equipped with an SecuRAM electronic lock, adjustable shelves, and accessory pockets on the door to hold ammo, pistols, cleaning kits, etc.
“There will be two price levels on this program,” said Shawn O’Connor, category manager at Meyer, “depending on if you’ll be buying one for your home or distributing them in your store or online. Regardless of their use, Meyer Logistics will be able to deliver them quicker and at a fraction of the cost of traditional LTL carriers.”
