Meyer Names Vendors of the Year
Meyer Distributing has named Air Lift Co., Camco, and Mickey Thompson Vendor of the Year in their respective categories.
“Every year, our purchasing, sales and marketing teams gather together to discuss our great partners and we have the opportunity to work with some of the best,” said Natalie Tempel, director of marketing. “But there is always a few that really stand out and Air Lift, Camco, and Mickey Thomson have all put forth exceptional effort within each department to grow their line.”
In the truck accessory division, Air Lift has stood out with its efforts with Meyer, and within its own company, to communicate and educate the dealers and consumers about load support, according to Meyer Distributing.
“The Air Lift Co. is celebrating its 70th year in business in 2019 and this is a great way to cap it off by wining such a prestigious award,” said Tony West, Eastern region sales manager of traditional markets for Air Lift. “From purchasing to sales and marketing, they are always thinking outside the box to come up with great ideas, and it shows with the phenomenal growth we’ve had this year. On behalf of the Air Lift Co., I want to thank the team at Meyer Distributing for giving us this prestigious award.”
“Air Lift Co. and their team have been able to provide Meyer Distributing with the products and the ability to grow and promote their line in a very competitive environment,” said Jeremy Wagler, purchasing manager at Meyer Distributing. “Air Lift has been a staple line for Meyer and our continued success with the line and their innovation with new products and improvements help consumers choose Air Lift for load support.”
“We are very fortunate to work with many outstanding vendor partners, and Camco is one of those. It’s a tough decision every year on making the Vendor of the Year selection but Camco is very deserving of this award,” siad Johnny Hayes, purchasing manager at Meyer.
“Camco views Meyer as a valuable partner and we appreciate the impact they’ve made since entering this industry,” said Chad Smith, sales manager at Camco. “This award is a confirmation by Meyer that they view Camco similarly and we are duly honored.”
“Our partnership with Mickey Thompson this year has allowed us to provide their amazing products to our Jeep, off road, light truck and race enthusiasts and they have helped us grow the business we do with our customers in all of these arenas,” said Wagler. “All of these segments are exciting facets of our business and Mickey Thompson has the products these customers look to use on the track, in the mud or on the street. We are looking forward to an exciting and productive finish to this year and the next one as well.”
