Micro-Air, the award-winning manufacturer of the EasyStart family of air conditioning products, and RV Whisper LLC, the wireless aftermarket RV monitoring system manufacturer, today announced a strategic partnership integrating their two technologies.
“RV Whisper has been waiting for this chance to include another power product in its fold,” said owner Ed Bender, “. . . and here it is.”
He added that with RV Whisper now able to wirelessly receive information from the Bluetooth-capable version of EasyStart, the two companies’ mutual customers have access to historical EasyStart data in their RV or boat. The data logged by RV Whisper includes peak starting amps, live amps, and EasyStart Status messages, allowing owners to easily see historical data in graph and other formats along with all their other RV Whisper data.
Another feature is its “good for pets” reading. This assures the coach owner, viewing the app information remotely, that the AC unit is starting and running and starting again at the time temperature set point is exceeded.
The RV Whisper integration includes remote access to the EasyStart historical data including graphs over time, and it supports sending email and text alerts based on user defined settings. These functions were not part of the EasyStart’s design but are value adds coming from the new partnership, the companies said.
