Midwest Automotive Designs, a division of REV Group, is offering Xantrex’s Freedom e-GEN lithium-ion power system in all of its luxury RV vans. Midwest’s luxury RVs are equipped with a microwave, A/C, refrigerator, wide-screen LED TV, and premium audio system. The prospective buyers of 2018 models will have the option to charge batteries and power onboard devices with this power system, eliminating the generator altogether.
“While luxury comes standard with every Midwest RV, the addition of the new Xantrex Freedom e-GEN power system offers an environmentally friendly source of AC and DC power to run an air conditioner and other heavy loads and precise battery management in all climate conditions,” said Jake Stephenson, national sales manager at Midwest Automotive Designs.
“We tested lithium ion power systems from a number of manufacturers. Only the Xantrex system performed to the high standards associated with our brand.”
The Xantrex Freedom e-GEN has multiple redundant safety features. The Xantrex system also offers a battery management system, inverter/charger, and auxiliary alternator resulting in long electronic runtimes, and fast engine recharge times.
The Midwest Passage with the Xantrex Freedom e-GEN power system will be on display at the Midwest/REV Group booth 5040 at the National RV Tradeshow.
