Miss California to Kick Off Pomona Show

Miss California Natasha Martinez, a resident of Chino Hills, Calif., will open the 63rd Annual California RV Show, Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Fairplex, Gate 9 in Pomona.

“We are delighted to have Natasha open the show this year and know our guests will enjoy seeing her,” said Tom Gaither, RVIA western show director.

Martinez has just returned from competing in Baton Rouge, La. for the title of Miss USA 2015.

Martinez, who obtained her degree in broadcast journalism from Chapman University, aspires to work towards a career in live television.

The Pomona show, dubbed “the largest RV show in the West,” will showcase more than 1,300 new RVs from 48 manufacturers and 17 California dealers, plus vintage campers, free rides on a ferris wheel, celebrities and athletes, a dog diving competition and more.

The show provides a free trolley and also offers mobility scooters, wheelchairs and kids wagons for rent at the entrance.

The event runs from Oct. 9 -18 at the Fairplex in Pomona, Gate 9. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Adult admission is $10.
