Reyco Granning President Dave Compton will retire at the end of the month, according to a news release from the company.

Reyco Granning supplies steel springs and suspension parts to the truck, trailer and specialty vehicle markets.

During Compton’s four-year tenure, the company has achieved revenue growth of 55 percent and expanded its workforce by 30 percent, according to the release.

Compton will stay on-board as a consultant through the end of the year, to help with the transition.

“Dave will be missed. In his tenure as president of Reyco Granning, he has provided the business with strong leadership, team building and direction since the business was acquired in 2011,” Reyco Granning Board Chairman Greg Purse said. “Dave is respected by employees and management alike and earned strong support of the Board.  We are grateful for his service and wish him well in his retirement.”

John Stuart, who is currently vice president of engineering for Reyco Granning, will be Compton’s successor and will commence his role as president Oct. 1.
