The Mitchell Group, a major converter of coated fabrics to upholstery markets around the world, announced that it now holds the highest hydrolysis rating for polyurethane fabrics in the industry. Recent hydrolysis tests for the company’s Sta-Kleen Polyurethane and Sta-Kleen Polycarbonate lines have returned unprecedented results, the company said in a release, setting a new benchmark for durability and performance in the performance textiles market.
The hydrolysis test measures the resistance of materials to degradation when exposed to moisture and heat. The new test results for Mitchell’s Sta-Kleen Polyurethane and Sta-Kleen Polycarbonate fabrics demonstrate longevity under these conditions:
