MORryde Founder Dies at 83

Robert (Bob) Gregg Moore of Elkhart, Ind., died recently at the age of 83.

Moore was a U.S. Army veteran who, in 1966, founded MORryde, and he served as president until he retired.

According to his obituary in the Goshen News, Moore’s main passion and purpose with MORryde was to use the business to support missions outreach around the world. He served on numerous boards, including World Missionary Press, Word of Life Fellowship, Baugo Schools, First Nazarene Church, First Baptist Church of Elkhart, River Oaks Community Church, Bethel Brethren, Church, People to People, MORryde International and Bank One.

Moore is survived by his wife, Ann, who he was married to for more than 62 years.
