Motorhome Market Will Hit $218.9B by 2026, Research Group Says
The global research firm ResearchAndMarkets said it expects the motorhome market to grow to $218.9 billion by 2026, up from an estimated $156.7 billion this year. That’s a compound annual growth rate of 8.7%.
ResearchAndMarkets, which is selling a comprehensive report examining the current and future state of the market globally, said it considers not just the sale of motorhomes, Class Bs and van conversions, but also all accessories as well.
“One of the most significant trends in the motor homes manufacturing industry is the upcoming solar-powered motor homes, which are electric motorhomes powered by solar panels and a battery pack,” the report said. “Dethleffs unveiled the e-home, a motorhome powered by solar panels and a battery pack. The company claims that it enables a range of 100 miles and it can support both DC fast-charging and level-two electric vehicle charging.”
Asia Pacific is the largest region on the globe for motorhome use. Western Europe is second. To find out where North America ranks requires the purchase of the report, which can be found here.
