The manufacturer’s sales for the first half of 2018 are up 36 percent compared to the same period in 2017. nüCamp RV provides employment to 205. More than 100 joined the team in 2017 with 20 more in 2018. All operations, including manufacturing, marketing, and distribution are in-house. There are nine newly-created positions currently available.

Recent investments include solar power installed by a local company, and the purchase of a CNC Edgebander, the first in all of North America.

A total of 3.5 acres of land, adjacent to the current facility, were recently acquired with expansion plans slated for the next 12 to 18 months.

Two new campers are set for release. A short bed camper fitted for a half-ton truck is set for fall, and a full-sized travel trailer for spring 2019. nüCamp RV’s second annual customer event, uCamp18, held in July was sold out six months in advance. Hundreds of nuCamp enthusiasts visited the Holmes and Tuscarawas County areas.
