NCRVDA’s 2020 Fall Raleigh Show Cancelled

The North Carolina RV Dealers Association (NCRVDA) said it plans cancel its upcoming Fall Raleigh show, originally scheduled for Aug. 28 to 30 at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.

“The RV Industry is booming right now, as families are seeking safer opportunities to vacation with their family where they can control their own setting,” said Eric Burg, CEO of Apple Rock Advertising & Promotion, the promoters of the RV show. “And while we have received a lot of positive feedback and support from our communities and our RV show fans, based on the governor’s delay of Phase three (reopening) we have made the responsible decision that it is too soon to open an RV Show that draws large crowds.”

At this time, the NCRVDA and Apple Rock said they plan to move forward with the fall Charlotte RV Show, scheduled for Sept. 18 to 20.

“Our hope is that we will see positive progress in the next two months, that the number of COVID cases will continue to decline, and that North Carolina will be in phase three showing good improvements,” said Jeff Haughton, director of events and sponsorships for Apple Rock. “We are planning for various precautions for the Charlotte show to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our attendees and our vendors.”
