The New England RV Dealers Association will promote RV-related careers through a partnership with Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough, Mass. this June.

The partnership is part of the Association’s larger effort to promote RV careers to vocation and technical school students throughout the country.

The two-day event, called Connecting for Success, is expected to draw 700 school administrators, business development staff and teachers. NERVDA will sponsor the event and host an exhibit promoting RV careers.

“Once we have shown success in Massachusetts, we will move to the other five New England states to make sure that all our dealers will be able to take advantage of the opportunities this relationship holds for our industry,” the Association said in its news release.

In December, NERVDA hosted an RV career day program at Lincoln Technical Institute in East Windsor, Conn. in a daylong program introducing students in the school’s diesel engine program to the RV industry.
