New Book Geared Toward Dealership Owners

Liberty, Mo.-based Bob Clements International, which specializes in equipment dealership training and development, has a new book out titled, “You’re the Problem (and the Solution!).”

Authors Bob Clements and Sara Hey share proven habits they have seen help dealership owners and managers to “reclaim their life, their sanity, and their dealership.”

The book “shares real dealership stories along with practical and applicable information on how dealership owners and managers can implement some of Bob Clements International’s world renown best practices,” according to the authors.

“Over the years that I have been involved in the dealership world, I discovered something. I found that some dealers were in a never-ending, all-consuming stream of struggle, day after day, while others seemed to be successful regardless of what happened to them or their dealership,” said Hey, vice president of business development and spokesperson for BCI. “It made me wonder, what separated the thousands of successful dealers we have worked with from the ones that could never get ahead? Our team spent a year taking an in-depth look at this, and what we found were seven proven habits that all of these dealers exhibited. We knew that we had to find a way to share these with any dealer who was willing to put in the work.”

Some of the advance praise of the new book comes from Phil Ingrassia, president of the RV Dealers Association. He said it “provides a practical approach to the importance of leadership at your dealership. Sara and Bob break down this big objective of leadership into tangible ways to create your vision, build your foundation, and develop your people. The stories in this book provide inspiring ways to apply the techniques at your dealership. As an equipment manufacturer, we appreciate that dealerships are an extension of us and we need each other for success.

“This book will challenge you to embrace change to drive success in your organization. A must-read if you want to continue to grow your dealership and your dealership team.”
