New RV Learning Center Course Provides Service Manager Training

Service manager training is the newest addition to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center’s selection of online courses designed to help dealers and fixed operations professionals meet the needs of a new generation of customers.

The Service Manager Online Course contains 14 learning modules and provides interactive, user-friendly training that includes audio voice-overs and progress checks, and typically takes about five hours to complete. A module-by-module content breakdown can be viewed here. To register for the service manager course, click here.

The course is designed around the RV service manager job and task analysis developed by The Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment, in conjunction with RV industry subject matter experts.

To explore or purchase the course, visit the Service Manager Course landing page. Participants can also view a short video that highlights the value of the course and a demo video (available below) that shows how to navigate the course content.

Completion of the course helps experienced fixed operations personnel prepare for the RV Learning Center’s service manager certification. To obtain certification, candidates must have at least two years of experience in a service management role or similar position. They must submit a certification application form with a $249 fee, then take and pass a timed, online exam.

“Service management plays a critical role in the dealership’s fixed operations success,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “This training from the RV Learning Center helps service managers build leadership and customer service skills, and it also helps them prepare for certification.”
