The world premiere of the new Volkswagen (VW) California camper van will take place on May 7 this year. Fans will be able to experience the premiere digitally on YouTube.
“It’s time to completely renew the popular camper van and rethink it for the future. Retaining proven and popular features and staying one step ahead of the competition with innovations,” Volkswagen said.
The VW California has been the most successful camper van in its class since 2003, the company said. The last 1,500 California models to roll off the production line in Hanover-Limmer will get a “Last Edition” decal on the B-pillar, making it unmistakable that they are the last California based on the Transporter 6.1.
