The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has released its weekly recall list, with several RV companies making this week’s list.
Newmar Corp. has announced recalls of its 2020-22 Dutch Star, Essex, King Aire, London Aire and Mountain Aire because the steering gear fasteners may come loose. The recall number is 21V088.
Daimler Trucks North America has recalled the 2021-22 Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp.’s XC Chassis because the brake pedal return spring is missing. The recall number is 21V108.
Black Series Campers has issued recalls for several models, all from the year 2020-21. The Black Series C12, C13, C15, HQ12, HQ15, HQ17, HQ19, HQ19T; HQ21 and HQ22T are all recalled because an overload electrical system may cause fire. The recall number is 21V116.
Forest River is recalling its 2021 Cardinal and the 2021 Wildcat because of a possible furnace exhaust leak into the living space. The recall number is 21V141.
And Forest River is recalling its 2021 Cardinal and 2021 Wildcat because the spare tire carrier is incorrectly installed. The recall number for it is 21V145.
