Newmar Corp. is inviting its dealers, and other members of the RV community who will visit Elkhart Open House the week of Sept. 24, to its new state-of-the-art service center. Located at 1301 Stahley Dr. in Nappanee, Ind., visitors will be able to tour the recently expanded service center, as well as view the company’s 2019 model year products.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony of Newmar’s new service center will take place at 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
“With strong retail demand for our 2019 brands providing our company with a record setting backlog, I felt strongly that it would be great this year to host our open house at our new service center,” said Newmar President Matt Miler. “It’s the perfect place to show our products, and a great opportunity to showcase Newmar’s continued commitment and investment in the area of parts and service support.”
Newmar’s expanded service center totals more than 160,000 square feet of total space, housing 52 service bays, parts distribution, warranty processing, dealer and customer support under one roof. The facility offers its service guests a waiting area with work stations and complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as laundry, snack bar and pet area. In addition, Newmar’s new service complex contains offices for private customer consultation and conference space designed to host dealer technicians for on-site training.
“We hope that dealers will come visit us during open house week,” said Matt Utley, Newmar’s VP of service operations. “This is perhaps the largest OEM owned and operated service and parts facility in North America, and will allow the Newmar parts and service team to take care of our customers more efficiently and in a great setting.”
Newmar’s hours during open house week will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Sept. 24-27, and at 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 28. Refreshments and snacks also will be available.
