NeXus RV, an independently-owned manufacturer of Class C, Class B+ and Super C motorhomes, has expanded its production capacity with the purchase of a new facility in Elkhart Ind.
NeXus RV was founded in 2010 as a factory direct company. In 2018 Nexus RV converted the business to sell through the dealer network.
“With the purchase of this new facility, we will increase our production capacity by 100 percent,” said Claude Donati, co-founder. “In addition to the increase in production, we will continue to improve our quality as each production plant will focus on less variation and dial in the design on every model. We have been very fortunate to sign the best dealers in the industry during the pandemic and our backlog is over 10 months out, buying a new plant will allow us to more quickly provide our dealers the highest quality products in a timely matter.”
Nexus RV expects to have units coming off the new production line by mid-to-late March. This expansion will increase its labor force by 50 people.
“Although the labor market is tight making any expansion a challenge, we look forward growing our footprint in Elkhart as we are surrounded by all the great vendors and have access to the best talent possible,” said Donati.
