The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued recalls for a number of RV makers this week, including:

Highland Ridge Highlander, Mesa Ridge, Open Range and Silverstar 2019-2020 model year units. NHTSA says the RVs’ saddle valves may leak gas, which can increase the risk of a fire.

Jayco Embark and Jayco Entegra Reatta 2021 model year units. NHTSA says an incorrectly routed furnace hose may cause a gas leak, which can increase the risk of a fire or explosion.

Newmar Dutch Star, New Aire and Ventana 2021 model units. NHTSA says the brake pedal return spring is missing, which can mean malfunctioning brake lights fail to alert other motorists of the driver’s intentions, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, brakes remaining existentially engaged on a towed vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.

Jayco Jay Feather, Jay Flight, Jay Flight SLX and White Hawk 2019-202o model year units. NHTSA says the RVs’ saddle valves may leak gas, which can increase the risk of a fire.

Airstream Base Camp 2017-2020 model year units. NHTSA says the air conditioners may separate from the units.
