NHTSA Lists Weekly Recalls
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following weekly vehicular recalls:
Storyteller Overland, LLC is recalling 169 2026-2027 MODE and 2026 GXV HILTS vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat. The NHTSA ID Number is 26V566000
Kibbi, LLC is recalling 505 2026-2027 Renegade Valencia, Verona, Vera Cruz, Vienna, Villagio, Verona LE, XL, Garage, Totter, Explorer TS, Explorer, and Classic recreational vehicles equipped with MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat. The NHTSA ID Number is 26V574000.
Ford Motor Company is recalling 37 2026 F-150 vehicles. Incorrect rear axle tail bearings may have been installed, which can result in rear wheel lock-up or driveshaft separation. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S63. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning Sept. 14.
Ford Motor Company is recalling 17 2026 F-150 vehicles.The stabilizer rod fasteners may not have been tightened properly during manufacturing, which can allow the rod to shift out of position. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S66. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on Sept. 10.
Ford Motor Company is recalling 223,472 2023-2027 F-150 vehicles. The fuel tank may be improperly secured and leak fuel, or detach from the vehicle while driving. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S69. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning Sept. 14.
Daimler Trucks North America, LLC is recalling certain 2020-2023 Freightliner Cascadia and 2022 Western Star 49X vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall numbers 23V073 or 22V817. The brake modulator valves on the front axle may corrode and cause the vehicle to pull to one side during braking initiated by Electronic Stability Control (ESC) or Roll Stability Control (RSC). DTNA’s number for this recall is F1039. The NHTSA ID Number is 26V583000
