NMLA Participates in Dealer Week for Sixth Consecutive Year
The National Marine Lenders Association (NMLA) will once again engage with America’s boat dealers at MRAA’s Dealer Week event in Orlando, Florida, Dec. 8-11. The association will partner and network with boat dealers, manufacturers and marine industry attendees to educate all about retail boat loans, floorplan finance and specialty marine lending. NMLA interacts with dealers to advise and help them stay competitive with the latest information and data relating to boat loan underwriting, lien perfection and all marine financing matters, the association said in a release.
“NMLA marine lenders make it their business to understand today’s boat buyer and affordability issues” said Robin Cottmeyer, NMLA executive director. “Year after year, the data compiled in NMLA’s Annual Statistical Report confirms that recreational boat loans outperform other consumer loan types. Our U.S dealerships account for approximately 80% of recreational loans, so it is important to tell our story in Orlando as boat sales continue to improve in 2025.”
The NMLA will be one of over 170 exhibitors during Dealer Week. NMLA directors Jim Coburn, John Haymond and Lauren Key will be available to meet with dealers and industry executives to discuss the advantages of NMLA member financing and to tell the NMLA story.
