Nominations Due Soon for Inaugural RV Women’s Alliance Awards
The inaugural RV Women’s Alliance Awards will be presented at the awards dinner on Tuesday, Oct. 11, during the RV Women’s Alliance Education Symposium. Nominations are currently being accepted but are due soon: by Friday, Sept. 2.
The awards will recognize three individuals and one company who embody the mission of the RV Women’s Alliance to elevate, educate and promote women in the RV industry.
“Recognizing the contribution and achievements of the incredible women in the RV industry is a core part of the RV Women’s Alliance mission,” said RV Women’s Alliance President Susan Carpenter. “I am really excited for the start of the RV Women’s Alliance Awards Program, which recognizes our emerging leaders, our industry icons, and the women, men and companies who are championing women each day in our industry. These are the people and companies who are making a difference and it a privilege to be able to honor them with these awards.”
Four awards will be presented: the Leader of Tomorrow Award, the Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement, and the Champion of Women Awards that will be presented to both an individual and a company. Full information on each award and a link to the nomination form is below.
Leader of Tomorrow Award
The RV Women’s Alliance Leader of Tomorrow Award recognizes women who are making a big impact on the RV industry during the beginning stages of her career. The future of the RV industry depends on the cultivation of strong, creative, and hardworking women who will become tomorrow’s leaders in the RV industry. Recognizing the up and comers in the industry, the Leader of Tomorrow Award is presented annually to an RV Women’s Alliance individual member.
Award Criteria: Nominees must be an individual who has worked in the RV industry for less than 5 years. The nomination form is here.
Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement
The RV Women’s Alliance Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement recognizes women who have made significant contributions to the RV industry’s advancement while also paving the way for other women to follow in her path. The RV Women’s Alliance’s highest honor, the Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement, is presented annually to an RV Women’s Alliance individual member.
Award Criteria: Nominees must be an individual who has worked in the RV industry for a minimum of 20 years. The nomination form is here.
Champion of Women Awards (Individual & Company)
The RV Women’s Alliance Champion of Women Awards recognize those who embody our mission to elevate, educate and promote women in the RV industry. Recipients of the Champion of Women award have made it part of their daily efforts to make the RV industry a place where women thrive. Recognizing those making the biggest difference for women in the RV industry, the Champion of Women Award is awarded annually to both an individual and a company.
Award Criteria: Nominees must be either an individual or company who does business in the RV industry.

Tickets are still available for the education symposium as well as tickets for just the awards dinner. All tickets can be purchased here. Check out the full schedule and session descriptions here. The symposium is scheduled for Oct. 11-12 at The Renaissance at Schaumberg in Chicago. A welcome reception and happy hour will be held for early arrivals the evening of Oct. 10.
