Northeast Florida RV Dealers, Suppliers Make Multiple Donations to Area Nonprofits

The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) Northeast Florida Chapter Board Members approved donations to four separate nonprofit agencies in the Jacksonville, Florida, metro area.

  • A $2,500 donation was made to the Clay County Police Athletic League (Clay PAL) — a youth activities program operated by volunteers and members of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
  • A $2,500 donation was made to American Legion Post 129 for its annual Challenge 22 Walk set for March 21 — which raises funds for veteran suicide prevention programs in the Jacksonville area.
  • A $2,500 donation was made to the Safe Animal Shelter in Middleburg, Florida — a nonprofit organization working to reduce the number of cats and dogs euthanized in Clay County, Duval County and the surrounding areas.
  • A $2,500 donation was made to Emmanuel Project — a nonprofit agency in Ponte Vedra, Florida, that operates a mobile medical clinic to provide healthcare to uninsured adults and children throughout Northeast Florida.

“Since our members are based throughout the region, we chose to make donations to nonprofit agencies and events that have a positive impact for several communities,” said FRVTA Northeast Chapter Board President Jeff Lavallee.

With these most recent donations, FRVTA’s Northeast Florida Chapter has made nearly $90,000 in charitable contributions in the region since 2018.
