Northern Wholesale Supply will host its Dometic Advanced Training Academy on Feb. 21-22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Northern Wholesale Supply in Lino Lakes, Minn.
The training program will focus on operation, common issues, and accurate diagnostic of a wide range of Dometic/Atwood products. This includes hands-on training, technical discussions, and troubleshooting tips.
Day 1 Topics
- Air conditioners: new electronic controls (Comfort Control Center 2 and Single Zone LCD)
- Water heaters
Day 2 Topics
- Refrigeration: electronic controls, as well as gas and electrical components.
- Introduction to the new “8” series refrigerators
- Dometic’s warranty policy and proper procedures
Classes are intended to address multiple levels of service knowledge and are geared toward technicians looking to expand their knowledge on Dometic products, service managers looking to better understand diagnostic information, and service writers beginning to translate what the customer is explaining and what mechanical issues are actually going on, says the company.
The cost per technician for both days, with lunch provided, is $300.
