November RV Shipments Up 19 Percent

RVIA’s November survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 41,451, an increase of 19.6 percent from the 34,670 units shipped last November. November 2017 shipment total is the best November on comparable record.

RV wholesale shipments have reached 468,383 through eleven months of 2017, up 17.8 percent compared to the 397,721 units shipped over the same period last year.

All towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, totaled 36,464 units for the month, an increase of 20 percent compared to last November’s towable RV shipment total. Year-to-date totals for towable RV are 18.2 percent to 410,431 units.

November motorhome shipments are up 16.5 percent to 4,987 units over last year, paced by solid gains in all motorhome types. Year-to-date motorhome shipments have reached 57,952 units on 14.6 percent growth over the 50,566 units shipped during the same period last year.
