NRVTA Promotes Bryan Carbonnell to Inspector Instructor
The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) announced the promotion of Bryan Carbonnell to inspector instructor.
With an illustrious career spanning over a decade in the RV industry, Carbonnell is set to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role, the organization said.
Carbonnell’s journey in the RV world began as a passionate enthusiast and evolved into a seasoned professional, certified by both the Recreational Vehicle Technicians Association of America (RVTAA) and the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA). He is an RVTAA Certified Tech, NRVIA Certified Tech and RVTI Level 2 Certified Tech. Carbonnell has been a Certified Inspector since 2015 and achieved Certified Technician status in 2019.
Originally from Canada and proudly representing North American Indian heritage, NRVTA said Carbonnell has been a trailblazer in the industry, operating a successful cross-border inspections and repair business spanning both Canada and the United States. His expertise was instrumental in his role as head of inspectors and technicians during the FEMA project in North Carolina following Hurricane Florence in 2018.
Before joining the NRVTA in 2021, where he excelled in teaching water heaters and furnaces, Carbonnell amassed over two decades of corporate training experience, notably with Canada’s public broadcaster. His contributions extend beyond instruction; Carbonnell is one of the original members of the Master Inspector Selection Committee and continues to serve on the committee. He also holds dual positions on the NRVIA and RVTAA Advisory Groups, underscoring his commitment to industry advancement and collaboration.
Terry Cooper, managing director of NRVTA, said, “We are thrilled to promote Bryan Carbonnell to the role of Inspector Instructor at the National RV Training Academy. Bryan’s profound knowledge and extensive experience within the RV industry make him the most suitable candidate for this critical position. His dedication to advancing our educational standards and his remarkable ability to connect with both peers and students have been invaluable to our community. We look forward to seeing him excel in his new role and continue to make significant contributions to our curriculum and the wider RV community.”
The National RV Training Academy is confident that Carbonnell’s appointment as inspector instructor will significantly enhance and update the inspector classes under his expert guidance, marking a pivotal moment for the academy.
