NRVTA Releases 2024 Schedule
The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) released its schedule for the 2024 school year and announced the completion of a software upgrade to help students with registration.
The 2024 schedule of classes follows a similar format to previous years. The calendar is set up around seven cycles with multiple class openings which allow students to complete training at any point throughout the year. Program options include:
- RV Service Technician – Upon completion of two courses stretching over six days, students can become registered RV technicians with the RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA). There are 22 opportunities to complete this program during the 2024 course schedule.
- Advanced RV Service Technician – There are 14 opportunities for people to start the five-week Advanced RV Service Technician Program. The six courses are taught during 26 days of classroom instruction and hands-on labs. Upon completion, students take a test to become RVTAA Certified RV Technicians.
- Master RV Service Technician – Certified RV technicians with at least three years of experience are eligible to take three courses taught during an 11-day period as part of the Master RV Service Technician Program. There are seven opportunities to begin those sessions in 2024. Upon completion, students earn credentials as RVTAA Master Certified RV Technicians.
- RV Inspector – There are also 14 opportunities for students to begin the three-week RV Inspector Program. It includes four courses taught during 16 days of classroom instruction as well as hands-on training covering the process to conduct thorough inspections of all types of RVs. Upon completion, students can take an exam to become certified RV inspectors with the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA).
Starting dates can be found by viewing the course catalog on the NRVTA website. A full calendar is available to interested students when speaking with a student advisor.
“We waited until July to release the 2024 dates because we were moving our enrollment processes to a new custom software system,” said Stephanie Henson, NRVTA director of administration. “People expressed interest in the 2024 dates this past spring, but we held off on enrollments until now so we could utilize our new software platform. Now complete, it will make the enrollment process easier and more streamlined for our students and staff.”
