LAS VEGAS – The buying and selling officially kicked off during Day 2 of the NTP Expo at the Venetian in Las Vegas on Wednesday during a full day on the show floor.
Marketing Director Jane Donnelly said that attendance on both sides of the aisle – for dealers and vendors – set new records for an NTP Expo.
“We’ve got more exhibitors than ever. We had some new, first-time exhibitors, and some cross-over automotive exhibitors, that sell floor liners and such, which make sense for the RV market because people are towing with heavy-duty trucks.”
Donnelly said the company expects next year’s inaugural NTP-Stag event in New Orleans to be much larger because of the combined dealer and vendor attendance from both companies.
During today’s final day on the show floor, Donnelly said she expects many dealers will be turning in last-minute purchase forms, but she added that purchasing has been strong throughout the show.
“The ordering was robust today,” she said. “We were reprinting forms all day long.”
Throughout the first night and early at the show Wednesday, NTP held raffle drawings, giving 10 dealers tickets to nearby shows, such as “Rock of Ages” and “The Beatles Love Experience”.
Dealers had the option to swap the tickets for prizes such as Kindle e-reader and head phones.
Dealers and vendors hit the show floor again today for a full day of selling before tonight’s closing ceremony, and packup.
