RV Dealers Association of Canada announced that it will award 11 bursaries valued at $1,000 each and one bursary valued at $1,500 to eligible RV technicians in all Canadian Provinces and Territories, who have enrolled in RV apprenticeship or related education programs.
The eligible training period for consideration of the 2017 to 2018 bursary ends May 31. Bursaries will be awarded to students with serious interest and desire to succeed in the RV industry as demonstrated by successful program completion with higher than average grades.
The deadline for applications, which include a 600-word essay, will be June 1.
The essay should answer the four questions below:
- What attracted you to work in the RV industry?
- Describe a scenario where you were able to “think on your feet.”
- What do you enjoy the most and least of your job?
- How do you think the RV service technician trade differs from other trades?
