NTP-Stag Unrolls PRO Speakers Lineup

Each year NTP-STAG kicks off a new round of education seminars at its annual trade show as part of its RV University training track.

The 2016 Expo will be hosted Jan. 19-20 in New Orleans with RV University occurring on the first day of the event. The PRO business development workshops are a key feature of RV University that also will host product and technical training from more than 20 suppliers, according to a news release.

For the past six years, PRO has been providing live training and webinars on a wide range of retail focused topics including store readiness, merchandising, e-commerce, selling, customer relationship management and more.

Attendees will be able to choose their tracks from a curriculum that includes merchandising, selling and customer engagement. The presenters are leaders in their respective fields and promise to deliver content and ideas that are relevant to RV businesses and that can be applied for immediate operational improvement.

On Wednesday (Dec. 17), the company announced the PRO lineup:


Speaker: Don Reed, CEO DealerPRO Traing

Topic: Essential Selling Techniques to Maximize Service Profits

Description: This class will emphasize training on the entire retail sales process, from initial customer communication through product/service presentation and final delivery.  Effective customer communication: reactive vs. proactive; expert phone sales techniques; features/benefits of aftermarket products; increasing parts and labor sales.


Speaker:  Rich Kizer and Georganne Bender

Topic: Creating Store Layouts that Sell, Sell, Sell!

Description: This presentation offers up ideas and advice you can take to the bank. From the parking lot to the back door, and every space in-between, professional store planners KIZER & BENDER will take you through every aspect of store design. You’ll learn the latest in store layout, visual merchandising, and tricks of the trade to increase your “shelf esteem” – and store sales.


Speaker: Terry Murphy

Topic: Connect online and Convert offline – engagement, connection and conversion
