OHI Connect Returns This March to East Tennessee

OHI announced it is bringing OHI Connect back this spring for its second annual peer-to-peer workshop designed specifically for RV park and campground owners and operators. Following a successful pilot event last year, OHI Connect will take place March 31 at Jellystone Park Watts Bar Lake in Loudon, Tennessee, with registration now open.

OHI Connect is an immersive, hands-on experience designed for outdoor hospitality professionals who are navigating rising costs, seeking smarter paths to revenue growth and sharpening their strategic vision for the season ahead. This peer-driven workshop brings operators together for meaningful conversations, practical takeaways and high-value connections, OHI said.

“One thing that I take away from every experience is that I’m always reignited with passion for the industry, guest experience and making my campground the best it can be. That’s what OHI Connect gave me,” said Angie Shunk, owner of Sleepy Hollow Campground. “Every time I attend an OHI event it sparks my passion a little more … I’m reminded that there are solutions for all the problems we encounter.”

OHI Connect kicks off with a welcome networking evening and light dinner on Monday, March 30, setting the stage for connection, conversation, and shared perspectives with fellow operators.

On Tuesday, March 31, attendees will dive into a full day of interactive workshops and presentations, focused on practical strategies, peer learning, and real-world applications across today’s most critical operational and growth areas. This year’s sessions will focus on these key areas:

  • Revenue growth strategies and diversification opportunities
  • Cost management and operational efficiencies
  • Staffing optimization and human resources best practices
  • Marketing, technology and tools that drive performance

For those looking to go deeper, an optional add-on experience will be offered on Wednesday, April 1 from 7:30 a.m. – noon. Wednesday morning’s small-group sessions are designed for operators ready to roll up their sleeves and engage in deeper strategic work – including a SWOT analysis framework, retail and merchandising strategies, and ideas that elevate the guest experience. The hands-on exercises and facilitated discussions will translate directly back to your business, OHI said.

OHI Connect is intentionally designed to be high-touch, high-impact and operator-focused – blending strategic thinking with practical execution, all in an energizing environment built for connection, collaboration, and forward momentum.

Lodging and camping options are available onsite at Jellystone Park Watts Bar Lake, and OHI said attendees are encouraged to stay on-site to get the most out of the experience. Special rates are available. Complete this Reservation Request Form by March 25. Enter “OHI Connect” in the Group Name field.
