OHI Increases Dues To Support Expanded Member Benefits

OHI (Outdoor Hospitality Industry) announced an update to its membership dues structure beginning in 2026. The change marks the first significant adjustment in several years and is designed to keep OHI strong, sustainable and ready to serve the growing needs of its members, the organization said.

While this means a modest increase in annual dues at the time of renewal for existing members, it also means greater investment in the resources that help the industry stay ahead of the curve, improve visibility for parks through GoCampingAmerica and much more, according to a press release from OHI.

“Our dues have remained extremely affordable and have not been increased for the past two years, even as the costs of advocacy and member support have risen,” said Paul Bambei, CEO. “This adjustment is long overdue and ensures OHI can continue to deliver unmatched value to members while keeping costs well below those of comparable associations.”

Membership dues fuel the work that drives the industry forward and power the initiatives that help members attract more guests and achieve greater success, OHI said. Every dollar is reinvested into strengthening outdoor hospitality business owners and operators across North America, the organization said, including:

  • Powerful Advocacy: Since 2020, OHI has secured 19 pro-business legislative victories and stopped more than a dozen harmful proposals. Most recently, OHI helped ensure the Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction was made permanent, a 20% deduction operators can count on each year.
  • National Visibility: Member parks are listed on GoCampingAmerica.com, which reaches hundreds of thousands of prospective guests annually. A new partnership with Spot2Nite is expanding that reach even further.
  • Exclusive Research and Insights: From the Generational Camping Report to the Industry Outlook Report, OHI members receive exclusive data to make smarter pricing, marketing, and business decisions.
  • Discounts and Savings: On average, OHI members save more than $7,000 annually through preferred vendor discounts on essentials like propane, Wi-Fi, music licensing equipment, and property management systems.
  • Community and Credibility: OHI membership sets the standard for professionalism in outdoor hospitality. It connects operators to the industry’s most trusted network through Coffee Conversations, Young Professionals Happy Hours, and national events like Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) and the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality cementing OHI as the place where leaders and future professionals shape the industry.

“Membership with OHI means being part of something bigger,” said Jeff Hoffman, Treasurer of the OHI Board and Chair of the Dues Restructure Workgroup at OHI. “OHI has streamlined operations, embraced efficiencies, and cut costs where possible. This dues adjustment ensures we remain a strong, effective advocate for the outdoor hospitality industry in the years to come.”

The new dues structure will take effect Jan. 1, 2026. Members can learn more at OHI.org/dues.
