The Ontario RV Dealers Association today announced a significant addition to its consumer RV trade show portfolio.

Carrying over the momentum from the Toronto show, the Association will host a trade show in Ottawa for the first time, according to a news release.

“We’re very excited to announce that the success of previous RV shows in the greater Toronto area has allowed geographic expansion of our show area,” said Natalie Conway, ORVDA Association Manager. “For the first time in ORVDA history, a show will take place next year in the national capital region.”

Date: February 9 – 12, 2017

Venue: The EY Centre in Ottawa, Ontario

“The EY Centre is thrilled to announce our new partnership with the Ontario RV Dealers Association as they expand into the National Capital Region,” EY Centre General Manager Neill Bales said. “We view this as a great opportunity in the region for the consumer and the industry. We look forward to a great partnership with ORVDA in 2017 and beyond.”

The demographics of the Ottawa, Ontario population includes government employees and their families, students and staff of two major universities, according to the news release.

The capital region and surrounding area is well known for its outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate its scenic beauty and access to a variety of parks and campgrounds.

“We at Vos Trailers are very excited to be a part of an ORVDA produced and managed RV show in the Ottawa region,” said Carolyn Vos of Vos Trailers. “We view this expansion as a huge step forward for our entire industry.”

As a not-for-profit organization, ORVDA advocates on behalf of its 180 dealer and associate members. Revenues from the show help to support the association’s efforts to promote and support the RV lifestyle through education, lobbying, RV shows and leadership.
