Forest River and THOR Industries have agreed to hold this year’s Elkhart RV Dealer Open House the week of Sept. 26, following a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
That gives the industry a one-week break between the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle & Camping Association’s Hershey Show – “America’s Largest RV Show” – and the Elkhart RV Dealer Open House, an event that has become the industry’s most important trade conference in North America since the closure in late 2017 of the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association’s National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
COVID-19 forced the cancellation of Open House Week for the past two years, with last year’s being postponed only a few weeks out from its scheduled launch date.
