ORVDA Show Sees a 50 Percent Increase in Sales

The Ontario Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association announced record attendance and retail unit sales at the Toronto Fall RV Show held from Oct. 13 to 15 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

The ORVDA RV professional industry events serve as a catalyst to bring together industry, media, dealers, and RV and camping enthusiasts. For more than 25 years, ORVDA has strategically managed these events to provide both maximum promotion to all Ontarians and a vibrant showcase where our members can engage with their customers.

“We have been aggressive in our marketing initiatives which allowed us to connect with a larger, more diverse audience, welcoming over 10,000 RV and camping enthusiasts Friday through Sunday at the Toronto Congress Centre,” said Natalie Conway, ORVDA executive director. “We are delighted to announce these figures are the highest in the fall shows history, and represent a 21 percent increase in visitors and a 50 percent increase in retail product sales over 2016.”

Plans for the 2018 ORVDA show season are well underway with shows operating in Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Kitchener, Ontario. Revenues from the show help to support the association’s efforts to promote and support the RV lifestyle through education, lobbying, RV shows and leadership.
