Outdoorsy Reports Slight Uptick in its Net Bookings for Labor Day
Outdoorsy, a global online RV rental and outdoor travel marketplace, reports that its net bookings for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend are up 9 percent over last year. Twenty-two percent of them are repeat bookers, the company said in its Labor Day Travel Trends report.
Outdoorsy said the average trip length this Labor Day weekend is six days.
According to Outdoorsy, this is the most affordable summer holiday on record for RV trips, with the average nightly rate for Labor Day trips priced at $229. That compares to $251 a night for the Fourth of July and $234 a night for Memorial Day. That $229 is just a 4 percent increase over last year.
