Pair Joins Newcoast as RV Finance Specialists

Newcoast Financial Services announced today that industry veterans Janet Kelly and Jeff McLeod have joined the Newcoast team as RV Finance Specialists.

Jeff began his career in the RV Finance business in 1994 working for Ed Arienti at Thor Credit Corp. Thor Credit Corp was founded as a joint venture with Ganis Credit Corp and later other partners included Bank of Boston, Deutsche Financial Services, E-Trade and GE Money Bank. Jeff worked with Thor Credit Corp for 14 years as Regional Manager for the Eastern US. In 2008, he became Director of Sales for Credit Acceptance Corp for the Southeast, managing sales teams working with auto dealers in indirect non-prime financing. Most recently, Jeff was an Executive Sales Director for Credit Union Lending at Spireon Automotive Telematics. His more than 20-year history gives him great understanding of consumer finance and the challenges that today’s dealers face.

Jeff is a graduate of Florida State University and a native Floridian. With two children, Jeff and his wife, Jennifer, recently celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Janet Kelly applies her industry knowledge, business acumen, and operations background to assist the Newcoast Financial team in building employee morale, streamlining workflow, and increasing the bottom line.

Janet has over 30 years of experience in the finance and insurance industry.  She began her career as a sales representative for Mutual and United of Omaha.  From 1974 to 1984 she held F&I management positions for Ford, Lincoln-Mercury, and Toyota dealerships in California and Nevada. Janet also served from 1984 to 1989 as the Director of Training / Assistant to the President for Critchlow & Associates, one of the nation’s largest aftermarket sales agencies, prior to founding her own training and consulting company. In 1989, Janet began her endeavors with Kelly Enterprises providing education in ethical, efficient, and effective F&I/sales processes that result in increased productivity and profitability for dealerships and their allied business partners for the Auto, Equipment, Marine, Motor Sports, RV and Trailer industries. Janet’s comments on F&I trends and practices can be found in industry publications such as Dealer Marketing, RV Executive Today, RV Pro, World of Special Finance, AutoExec, AutoRemarketing.Com, RV Trade Digest, and Successful Dealer.

Janet attended Southwestern College in San Diego, California, and has received Continuing Education Certificates in Business Management from Northwood University, Mutual of Omaha, Ford Motor Company, Pat Ryan and Associates, and the General Group of Companies.  She is AFIP Certified and has received awards from several organizations for her public speaking, including Toastmaster’s International.
