PDI Center for REV Recreation Group Brands Opens

Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler and American Coach RV brands of Terex Corporation have opened a new, dedicated Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Center designed to enhance the dealer and customer delivery experience.

The facility provides a center for specialized focus on final inspection and preparation before motorhomes are shipped to dealers, featuring enhanced inspection technology and processes and helping continue to ensure consistent product presentation and a smooth handoff to customers at retail delivery, the companies said.

Pre-delivery inspection facilities are increasingly used across the RV and specialty vehicle industries as manufacturers invest in additional quality verification and delivery preparation prior to shipment.

Operating as a dedicated inspection facility separate from the production line, the center allows the quality teams to focus exclusively on final verification, inspection and preparation prior to shipment. The process is designed to streamline dealer readiness and support a consistent customer delivery experience across the dealer networks. This facility serves as the final step in the multi-layered quality assurance process.

For dealers, the center helps streamline final delivery preparation and improves efficiency from arrival to retail display. The goal is to support faster inventory readiness while enabling dealers to focus on customer engagement and delivery.

“Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, and American Coach have long focused on delivering quality motorhomes, and this new PDI Center represents another investment in that commitment,” said Gary Gunter, president of Recreational Vehicles. “By adding a dedicated final inspection facility, we can provide dealers with coaches that are consistently prepared for delivery while supporting an outstanding ownership experience for customers.”

The new PDI Center, located at 1031 US 224, operates separately from the production facility lines.

“I’m proud of the work our team has done to bring the new PDI Center online,” said Rob Kowalczyk, Fleetwood’s director of operations. “This facility gives us the time, space, and processes needed to continue to perform thorough final inspections so dealers receive motorhomes they can confidently present to their customers.”

Fleetwood officials said the new PDI Center reinforces the company’s ongoing investment in quality systems designed to improve the dealer experience while delivering a stronger first impression for customers at retail delivery.
