Pebble Flow Named to TIME’s List of Best Inventions

The Pebble Flow, an all-electric travel trailer, has been named to TIME’s annual list of the Best Inventions, which features “200 innovations changing how we live.”

To compile this year’s list, TIME gathered nominations from its global network of editors and correspondents, as well as through an online application, with a special focus on emerging fields like healthcare, AI and green energy. TIME evaluated each contender on a number of key factors, including originality, efficacy, ambition and impact.

“At Pebble, we’re focused on using advanced technology to enhance the RV experience, making it easier and more enjoyable for everyone,” said Bingrui Yang, CEO and founder of Pebble. “TIME’s recognition of the Pebble Flow is a testament to our vision of setting a new standard for RV travel — one that combines comfort with ease of use and empowers travelers to explore farther, more sustainably.”

Drawing on expertise from industry leaders at Apple, Tesla, Zoox, Rivian and SpaceX, the company said the Pebble Flow was designed to eliminate many of the frustrations RVers have faced for decades. It combines design, functionality and technology to create a seamless user experience.

At the heart of the Pebble Flow is its intelligent automation system, Pebble said, powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Orin. Features like Magic Hitch and InstaCamp transform traditionally complex processes into one-touch operations, from hitching to campsite setups. The dual-motor Active Tow Assist System overcomes range limitations for electric vehicles while boosting fuel efficiency for gas-powered ones. Its aerodynamic design and robust aluminum space frame maximize both performance and safety, while the integrated 1 kW solar system and 45 kWh LFP battery ensure extended off-grid living without propane, aligning with the needs of today’s eco-conscious travelers, the company said.
