Physician Living in Coleman Light Trailer

A Missouri emergency medicine physician is living in her Coleman Light 1805RB travel trailer to keep her family safe from highly contagious COVID-19.

Dr. Tiffany Osborn with the Washington University School of Medicine knows firsthand the dangers of COVID-19.

“It’s an honor to take care of people at their most vulnerable time,” she said.

At the end of every shift, she believes “all health-care workers are concerned about their family” given how contagious the new coronavirus is proving to be.

When asked on Fox & Friends News how she and her husband came to the decision for her to sleep inside a camper in their driveway she said, “When all of this started to occur we began discussing our options. I either knew or knew of friends and colleagues who were living out of their garage, who had sent their families away, or who had sectioned off part of the house.”

Reaching a solution to keep the family together they decided to use money they saved for a home remodeling project to purchase the Coleman Light 1805RB travel trailer. They parked the trailer in their driveway and set up an outside living space for family to gather while keeping a safe social distance.

“We still get to see each other, talk to each other, and we still get to have that connection that is such an important component,” said Osborn.
