President of North America for Subway To Keynote OHCE2025
OHI (Outdoor Hospitality Industry) announced that Damien Harmon, president of North America for Subway, will take the main stage as the opening keynote speaker at the Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) 2025, happening Nov. 10-12 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. This year’s event will center on the theme “The Race to Greatness.”
Harmon is widely recognized as a transformative leader and culture builder. Named one of Fortune Magazine’s 25 Most Powerful Rising Executives in the Fortune 500, included in the Power 300: Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America and recently nominated for the Millennium Alliance’s Retail Leadership and Innovator of the Year Award, he brings a wealth of leadership insight to OHCE.
In his role as president of North America for Subway, Harmon oversees nearly 20,000 locations across the U.S., Canada and Bahamas. He has been instrumental in revitalizing guest experiences, driving digital and operational innovation, and building a customer-first model that powers growth and momentum.
“No matter what your race looks like, you’re not running it alone. At OHCE2025, we’re all in this big race to greatness together,” said David Basler, OHI’s chief strategy officer. “Damien’s leadership journey and vision for building strong, resilient businesses embody that same spirit of momentum, possibility and purpose.”
Harmon’s keynote will explore leadership, innovation and culture building, lessons that transcend industries and resonate with every outdoor hospitality professional. His background spans more than two decades across operations, retail and customer experience, including senior leadership roles with Best Buy and Bridgestone Americas.
OHI looks forward to welcoming Damien Harmon to Louisville this November, where his message will set the tone for three days of education, connection and inspiration at OHCE2025.
