Aftermarket RV monitoring system RV Whisper LLC and Advantage PressurePro, a provider of direct Tire Performance Management Solutions (TPMS), have announced the release of an integration between the PressurePro FX solution and the RV Whisper Monitor Station.
The companies said the integration allows RV Whisper customers to add a PressurePro FX system to their RV Whisper system as a new wireless sensor. RV Whisper then logs all tire sensor data and displays it in the RV Whisper app, along with other RV Whisper sensors, so all sensor data can be securely displayed on a smartphone both in the RV and over the internet.
A single PressurePro FX can monitor up to 40 tire sensors on several different vehicles, allowing a single TPMS to monitor the RV and several other vehicles. For example, with this integration an RV owner that goes “camping” with a 5th wheel toy hauler pulled by a pickup truck, with two off-road vehicles (toys) on board, and even has an extra car for visitors can now have tire pressure sensors on all of their tires with RV Whisper logging and alerting on each vehicle and tire. This helps avoid issues like arriving at the campground and being surprised with flat tires on the toys or hooking a trailer and then finding out one of the tires is low, the companies said. RV Whisper sees all of that data all of the time and alerts the owner ahead of time.
“With this new integration, RV Whisper customers can now see the most recent and the historical tire pressure and tire temperatures on all vehicles they go camping with,” said Ed Bender, president of RV Whisper. “This increased visibility will help eliminate ‘tire surprises’ and minimize interruptions to RV owner’s precious vacation time.”
